1936: Launched and named 'Francine'. Due to exchange restrictions the contract
was taken over by the joint ownership company for 'Francine', partners being A/S
Dampskibsselskabet Svendborg(A.P.Moller, manager), and
A/S Dampskibsselskabet af 1912(A.P.Moller, manager).
1937: Sold to Lauritzen's, r/n Arabian Reefer, and later 'Egyptian Reefer

M/S Egyptian Reefer af Esbjerg, 3159 Reg. T. Br. Bygget 1936 af Staal. Paa Rejse fra Conakry til Marseille. En Mand forsvundet+ d. 27/10 37 i Atlanterhavet. Søforklaring i Marseille d. 3/11 37. Kl. 706, da E. R. under en SØ.-lig Kuling befandt sig paa ca. 28° N. Brd. 14° V. Lgd., savnedes Hovmester Ole Jensen Olesen af Randers, der sidst var set d. 26/10 Kl. 21. Da det maatte formodes, at Hovmesteren, der havde været utilpas, var faldet over Bord, blev Skibet lagt paa modsat Kurs. Kl. 1015, da al Eftersøgning viste sig forgæves, blev det efter et afholdt Skibsraad besluttet at fortsætte Rejsen.
